Rob worked in various engineering, sales, and management roles prior to assuming the role of corporate President. He began managing in 1992 and has since grown the company from a 22 person operation to a thriving business with four locations across the U.S. and three additional locations in China, Taiwan and Korea. Rob has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Bucknell University and an MBA from the University of Baltimore.

KevinHarbarger150Kevin Harbarger, VP of Business Development

Kevin has been with MET Labs for almost 25 years, starting in Outside Sales and then was elevated to National Sales Manager in 1995. He became the VP of Business Development in 2001. Before joining the MET team, Kevin served in the U.S. Air Force as a technician in the Test, Measurement, and Diagnostics Equipment Laboratory. He was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal.  After an Honorable Discharge, Kevin worked in sales in the electronic test equipment industry from 1985-1992.

RickCooper150Rick Cooper, Safety Lab Director

Rick started at MET in 1981. With more than 35 years of experience, he quickly increased his position within the company becoming the Safety Lab Director in 2000. Rick helped MET Labs gain NRTL accreditation from OSHA, as well as, accreditation from the SCC, A2LA, and IECEE. Rick is a NARTE Certified Engineer (NCE) in the product safety and currently oversees 27 safety engineers and technicians in Maryland, California, Texas, China, and Korea.


Asad150Asad Bajwa, EMC Lab Director

Asad has 12+ years of EMC industry experience, and started with MET Labs in 2001 as an EMC Engineer. He quickly advanced to more senior roles and in 2010 began the EMC Lab Director. Asad has extensive experience in EMC design and evaluation, specializing in EMC test automation, wireless, NEBS, automotive (SAE & E-mark), military and avionics testing. Asad has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from UET Lahore and M.S. from University of Victoria.
